When I was twelve years old, I used my dad’s tape video camera and my basic knowledge of iMovie to produce a promotional video for a local magazine’s contest.  To my surprise, I won the grand prize: a new video camera.  Ever since, I have had the passion to continually learn new editing software to improve my techniques and sharpen my skills. I knew, even at that early age, that I had a passion for video and pursued it as a career ever since.

I attended the video production program at our county’s tech school where I had the opportunities to shoot and produce videos for local businesses and to compete in contests.  I have earned awards and recognition for my work on local, state and national levels.

As I pursued my degree in Digital Media & Video, I continued to hone my skills and work in a variety of settings with diverse projects. I was a sought-after video producer for projects of individuals/organizations, and for three years, I worked in various capacities for the Liberty Flames Sports Network.  In addition, I was a summer intern for the media department for the NFL’s Washington Commanders (then Redskins), to which I later freelanced for during the season.  I created video content and features for TV shows and their website, as well as shot game day footage.

After creating a video for my best friend’s engagement in 2017, I noticed the extremely positive and emotional reactions from it. I filmed a couple more engagements, and eventually filmed a wedding. This quickly became one of my favorite type of video to make and have pursued it more and more since that point.

I pursued more freelance work between and during jobs and even submitted winning commercial pitches for companies such as Ford, Mattel, EOS, and Nelvana Animation Studios (Max & Ruby). I’ve most recently delved into the marketing side of the industry to be as well versed in all areas as possible.

As I continue my career doing the thing I love most, I will continue to learn and improve, and I am confident that my technical expertise, creativity, and strong work ethic will reflect well on my team, company, and clients. Let’s get started.
